Plot: 40 Points
So the plot was pretty good, but unfortunately I compared these books to the Fifty Shades of Grey series, and it’s just not as good as those books. Very similar to FSOG except that the female character comes from a little wealthier background. Still the same, billionaire CEO like FSOG though. Still a swoon-worthy book though! And hardly any BDSM, so that was a plus for me.
Characters: 10 points
Eva and Gideon just weren’t as good as Ana and Christian. So I suggest you read these books before you read FSOG if you plan on reading both! It’s sad because these books are very good, but I just can’t compare them to the FSOG books. At least Gideon sounds hot!!! Of course...he sounds similar to Christian Grey.
Names of characters: 2 points
I don’t really like the name Eva or Gideon…but especially not Eva. Reminds me of Wall-E, LOL.
Writing/Depth: 20 points
The writing was good, similar to FSOG, but the depth wasn’t there. Missing some “umph.” And you don't see the transformation in Gideon like you see in Christian (in FSOG).
(PS: If you like these books, there is a 3rd book called Entwined with You. I haven't read it).
