Title: Pure

Series Info: Covenant #2
Author: Jennifer Armentrout
There is need. And then there is Fate. Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her. When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude or killing her. When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.
(All the notes and points are the same as Book 1)
Plot: 50 points
I love the plot of this series a lot, a lot!!!
I love the incorporation of Greek mythology, and I love the characters. The
slow development of a perfect romance is AMAZING! The friendships and
relationships are AMAZING! The adventure and suspense are AMAZING! FAVORITE
SERIES OF ALL TIME!
Characters: 15 points
All the characters in the series are GREAT! I
am officially in love with Aiden St. Delphi (check out the pic at the bottom!),
and he will forever be my biggest book crush! The character development for all
the characters is
fantastic!
Names of characters: 5 points
After reading these books, I want to name all
of my children after the characters in these books. Maybe I love the characters
and that’s why I love the names, or maybe I just love the names. I simply can’t
tell because I love the books so much!
Writing/Depth: 30 points
Jennifer Armentrout is one of my favorite
authors because she is the best at writing in depth and incorporating just the
right amount of emotions to a scene. She stays on a scene for just the right
amount of time, never too lengthy and drawn out, and the humor and whit always
leaves me smiling!
