Breaking Dawn (Twilight #4) - 99 points

Title: Breaking Dawn
Series Info: Twilight #4
Author: Stephanie Meyer
WHEN YOU LOVED THE ONE WHO WAS KILLING YOU, IT LEFT YOU NO OPTIONS. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to a werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.

Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions

5 HEARTS!

POINT BREAKDOWN

Plot: 50 points

This book was my favorite! Why? **SPOILER** Well the wedding of course, the honeymoon of course, the baby of course, and Bella’s new abilities of course! Plus, happily ever after for Jacob! Read this book the quickest, even though it was the longest one.

(The rest of the notes below are the same as the first book)

Characters: 15 points

What’s not to like about Bella, Edward, and Jacob? They’re all gorgeous and swoon worthy. The Cullen’s’ are all charming, the Indians/Werewolves are good rivals (I think Meyers does a good job with the rivalry, by the way), and all-in-all, all the characters were well developed. Bella and Edward have a beautiful love story!

Names of characters: 4 points

I didn’t have any problems with the names of the characters, which is why I still wanted to give this area 4 points, it’s just that none of the character names particularly stood out as being cute or sensual, and that’s something I look for and want in romance books.

Writing/Depth: 30 points

Meyers is really good in this area! I like to feel fully engaged when I read a book and I want to be able to understand and feel emotions within it as if they were my own. Meyers does a great job at doing that! The scenes were well written, and I felt like I could understand everything Bella was going through. That's pretty good for someone who has never fell in love with a vampire! LOL. Good job Meyers!

TOTAL: 99 POINTS
