Never Never: Part Two (Never Never #2) - 98 points

Title: Never Never: Part Two
Series Info: Never Never #2
Author: Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

“Never forget that I was your first real kiss. Never forget that you’ll be my last.
And never stop loving me between all of them.
Never stop, Charlie.
Never forget.”

Silas races against time as more truths unravel, while others twist tighter together. And now, the stakes are higher as Silas’ control slips and others begin to point fingers. Charlie is in trouble and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Because somewhere between I love yous and Never Nevers and Never Agains, a truth they can't imagine, beckons to be found.

“Where are you, Charlie?”

POINT BREAKDOWN

Plot: 48 points

So, to be honest, I read this book quite some time ago and I'm just now writing my review of it. Regrettably, I took some time off updating my blog, so my memory might be a little foggy.

Over all, I love this series so far! I love the mystery and the twists... I love how they're both fighting to remember when they really have no idea what they're fighting for. Everyone else is giving them the vibe that they should just forget. Even though no body really knows that they keep forgetting... (that probably makes not sense to you...  but it does to me).

Unfortunately, as is expected in a book series with three books... the second book doesn't reveal much and there is still quite a bit of mystery. We know from the end of the first book that Charlie is lost... so this book revolved around Silas finding her. But he also gets quite a bit of information along the way... valuable information.

We still have no idea what's going on... at least I don't! Is it paranormal? Is it a weird neurological experiment? Who knows!

Characters: 20 points

In this book, we mostly just see Silas. I can't say that much has changed about Silas from the first book, so I'm going to go ahead and give him the full 20 points again LOL.

Writing/Depth: 30 points

Hoover is always an outstanding writer... this book is no exception! And Fisher, well, as I mentioned in the review for the first book, I don't know much about her. And again, my guess is that she contributed to the mystery part of the book, as Hoover usually focuses on all the romantic stuff.

Luckily, I didn't feel the ending was as abrupt in this book as the last book. But unfortunately, not much happened in this book. Look for Charlie, gather some info, look for Charlie some more, gather more info... I think you get it. Still a great book! Can't wait for the last and final installment!

PS: I'm really digging the covers of this book series... very creative!

TOTAL: 98 POINTS
