Title: Executive Sweet
Author: Sage Ardman
Kay Samson is fresh out of business school and has a job as a junior executive—or so she thinks. But the job turns out to be something else: a bizarre game of erotic high-finance business deals. Although it starts off innocently, with just a little teasing, the game draws her in deeper with each new deal, and thrills her more than she could ever imagine. Who would have thought that her brains and her beauty could work together so powerfully?
Kay’s partner in this game is Dan Avery, the handsome CEO of the company. The two of them might seem like a perfect match, but neither wants to get romantically involved. Dan has a history of bad relationships, and refuses to wreck the game by having another bitter breakup. Kay is wary of men, who always lust for her looks and never care about what’s inside. Besides, they’re both having too much fun manipulating unsuspecting businessmen.
But with all the sexually-charged business deals going on, how long can they keep the game going and stay out of trouble?

If you are tired of reading the same "CEO and Average-Girl" plot over and over again, then this book is for you! It's definitely very different from any of the other books I've read about rich CEOs and the women that step into their lives. It makes you wonder if all CEOs try to swindle each other, and if there are really people who hire "killer colleagues" to help them get revenge on sneaky businessmen. In this economy, I really wouldn't doubt it!
Yes, there are some pretty cheesy scenes in the book that probably would never happen, but if you use your imagination, they're both hilarious and pretty steamy at times. I think this book would be ideal for people who know a little about the business world, and want to read a sexy, humorous story about it.
One thing about Kay is that she knows she is all that and a bag of chips, and she isn't afraid to talk about herself! That's something I could never imagine myself doing, even if I WAS as hot as Kay, but it suited her for the role she play in the book. It was nice to see that although she used her looks to win over deals, she was also a smarty pants and strategist. Gotta admire a girl with looks AND brains!!! Dan sure did ;)
About Dan...cute Mr. Avery... I wish I had read more scenes that included him and seen some more emotion from him, but other than that, well, he was a doll. What more can you ask for? A millionaire doll is always fun to read about :)
I think Doris was also a great addition to the book, because she had a great relationship with both of the main characters, and she helped kick-start the relationship between Dan and Kay.
Writing/Depth: 20 points
There is a lot of story telling and background info this book, which goes well with the plot because you need to understand where Dan got his ideas from, and why Kay is so aware of her good looks and man persuading skills. The only thing I wish I'd seen a little more of in this book is emotions other than desire and lust. Don't get me wrong...desire and lust are important emotions! Especially for this book! Just deeper emotional descriptions and more of a variety of them would have been nice. All-in-all, this book was very unique and original! :)
