Addition to Rating System

Hello All!

So...I guess I got a little envious of all the bloggers with "Star" rating systems!!! For my own records, I like using points to determine how much I liked a particular book, because I think some things about a book are more important than others (which is why I allocate more points to "Plot" than I do "Writing/Depth," and more to the latter than to "Characters"). 

However, when I look on other people's blog, it's nice to see right off the bat how many stars they gave a book. 5 Star books just jump out at you! So I added a "Heart" rating system (this is a romance blog, you know...) to compliment my point system. 

Here is the breakdown of the heart rating system in respect to my point rating system:

96-100 = 5 stars

91-95 = 4 ½ stars

86-90 – 4 stars

81-85 = 3 ½ stars

76-80 = 3 stars

71-75 = 2 ½ stars

66-70 = 2 stars

61-65 = 1 ½ stars

55-60 = 1 star

less than 55 = Will not rate or review (probably didn’t finish the book)

Here is an example of 5 Hearts:

I will still continue my point rating system, but now I will have the heart rating system as well. Regardless of what you like most, you can always search for books based on their labels (see the top of right sidebar). You can also just use the regular search tool (also at the top of the right sidebar). 

I am working on adding hearts to all the books I have rated (which may take me awhile!!!), then I am planning on creating a page that lists the books I've rated by their "Heart" rating.
